This artist has a warm, rare and unique voice. The contralto, Priscilla-Ann Tremblay, share daily her passion for signing trough her various lyrical engagement and her teaching. Priscilla-Ann graduated in lyric art from McGill University and Montreal University. She also graduated in musical education from Laval University. Passionate about her art, this Canadian contralto, born at Chibougamau (Quebec), started in September 2022 her doctorate in interprétation at University Laval.
Priscilla-Ann Tremblay created the role of Rose in Quebec opera Messe solennelle pour une pleine lune d’été in 2023 and the role of La vielle dame in the Cont’opera Treize à la douzaine in 2024. In world premiere, she will perform the role of La théière during the Brigade Opera of the Festival d’opéra de Québec 2025.
On the side of sacred music she recently sang as soloist in the Gloria, Magnificat and Stabat Mater of Vivaldi and the Stabat Mater of Pergolesi.
